For the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, LCF managed the supply and installation of seating for the Authority Stands at the opening ceremony, held at the historic San Siro Stadium.
A project focused on stadium seating and VIP stand seating, designed to meet the comfort, safety, and quick installation requirements typical of major sporting events.
Eighty Omega seats were supplied and installed, in certified flame-retardant fabric, designed to ensure high-quality seating even in winter weather conditions. Each armchair has been equipped with a heat cushion integrated into the backrest, via remote control across six heat settings, to ensure guest comfort during outdoor ceremonies, providing a VIP-level seating experience even in winter conditions.
The same seating will also be used for the closing ceremony at the prestigious Verona Arena, demonstrating the versatility and reliability of our solutions.

The supply for Milan Cortina 2026 is part of LCF’s activities dedicated to the creation of stadium seating, sports stands, event seating and tailor-made solutions for high-attendance spaces, both temporary and permanent, but of the highest representation.
The design was developed taking into account ergonomics, fire regulations, durability of materials and architectural integration, enhancing sports facility seating, authority stands and community furniture capable of adapting to different contexts: stadiums, arenas, auditoriums and multifunctional facilities.
An intervention that integrates VIP stand seating,certified flame-retardant seating and modular systems for major events, with particular attention to audience comfort and the efficiency of assembly and disassembly.
